Coral Code ("we", "us") builds software products including the Coral Media Engine and Lumis. This policy explains what information our products handle and how we treat it.
Information we collect
- Account information you provide — such as a name or email address when you sign up for or contact us about a product.
- Platform data you authorize — when you connect a third-party account (for example, a TikTok account through the Coral Media Engine), we access only the data you explicitly authorize through that platform's permission flow, and only to provide the product's features.
- Usage data — basic technical information (such as logs and error reports) needed to operate and improve our products.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve our products.
- To perform actions you request, such as publishing or scheduling content on a connected platform.
- To communicate with you about your account or support requests.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your data with third parties except the platforms you have connected, service providers needed to run our products, or where required by law.
- We do not use data obtained from connected platforms for any purpose other than providing the features you use.
Data retention and deletion
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide our products. You can disconnect a linked platform account at any time, which revokes our access. To request deletion of your data, email us and we will act on the request within 30 days.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted transport and access controls — to protect the data our products handle.
Children
Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Per-product policies
Individual products may have their own, more specific policy. Lumis is covered by the Lumis privacy policy, which describes how syllabi, course materials, and waitlist signups are handled.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the date above.
